macOS
Apple Silicon and Intel
The macOS version is still in the works. Windows is the only supported platform for now. Check the changelog for news.
System requirements
- SystemWindows 10 or 11 (64-bit). macOS is coming soon
- Memory4 GB RAM minimum (the launcher gives each profile 4 GB by default)
- GraphicsGPU with OpenGL 3.3+. Vulkan (experimental) is optional and only for Minecraft 26.2
- JavaBundled automatically: the launcher downloads the right Java runtime for each version
- InternetNeeded on first launch of a version to download the game and the signed Flick mod
- MinecraftYour own Java Edition account, or an offline profile
Install on Windows

Download the installer
Save the .exe file from the Windows card above.

Run it
If SmartScreen shows “Unknown publisher”, click More info → Run anyway.

Install
Pick a folder (or keep the default) and finish the wizard.

Sign in and play
Add a Microsoft or offline account, choose a version and click Play.

New apps without a code signing certificate get this warning until they build up reputation. We are working on signing the installer. Until then:
- On the blue screen, click More info.
- Then click Run anyway.

Verify the Windows installer (optional)
Run this in PowerShell after downloading and compare the result with the SHA-512 below (letter case does not matter).
