Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 October 2026.

1. General

These terms govern the use of Flick Client (the launcher, the client mod and related services, the “Software”) and this website.

Flick Client is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft and is not endorsed or approved by them. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang AB.

2. Minecraft and its EULA

The Software does not contain or distribute the game Minecraft. Your use of the game is governed by the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) and Mojang’s usage guidelines. You are responsible for keeping your game compliant with those documents and with the rules of the servers you play on.

3. License

The author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for private, non-commercial purposes. All rights to the Software, its code, graphics, models and logos are reserved.

4. Prohibited use

Without the author’s written permission you may not:

  • decompile, deobfuscate or otherwise reverse engineer the Software, except where mandatory law says otherwise,
  • copy, resell or redistribute the Software or its assets outside official channels,
  • bypass the Software’s or the server’s protections, including access restrictions,
  • impersonate other players or overload the Flick servers (for example with mass connections),
  • use the Software in a way that violates the law or a game server’s rules.

5. Accounts and security

Signing in with a Microsoft account takes place in Microsoft’s own window. The Software does not receive your password. Access tokens are stored locally on your computer in encrypted form. You are responsible for the security of your computer and account.

6. Social features

Social features (friends, messages, invites) are provided through the Flick presence server. The author may change or remove features and may suspend access to them for users who break these terms.

7. Disclaimer

The Software is provided “as is”, without any warranty, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation. The Alpha version may contain bugs. To the extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for damages arising from use of the Software, including loss of data or worlds, or a ban on a server.

8. Changes and termination

These terms may change. We will announce significant changes on this site. Continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept it. You can stop using and uninstall the Software at any time.
